Our professor Marjan Petreski publishes his paper "Monetary policy, exchange rates and labour unions in SEE and the CIS during the financial crisis", coauthored with Branimir Jovanovic from the National Bank of the Republic Macedonia, in Economic Systems, Volume 38, Issue 3, pages 309-322. The journal has a JCR-Web of Science impact factor of 0.611 and SNIP-Scopus impact factor of 1.041.

Our professor Marjan Petreski presents his paper "Improving the welfare effect of the agricultural subsidy program for crop food production in Macedonia" at the United Nations Conference "Trade policies, household welfare and poverty alleviation" in Geneva, Switzerland, Sptember 8-10, 2014. Our professor Nikica Mojsoska-Blazevski joins the conference as a referee of the paper.

The paper appeared as a chapter in the edited volume "Trade policies, household welfare and poverty alleviation" under the editorial of Nina Pavcnik, published by the UN in Geneva.

Our professor Nikica Mojsoska Blazevski presented the paper, coauthored with prof. Marjan Petreski, "Youth self-employment in households receiving remittances in Macedonia" at the 13th EACES (European Association of Comparative Economic Studies) Biennial Conference, September 4-6, 2014 in Budapest, Hungary.

Our professor Marjan Petreski participates at the Summer school and conference "Gender pay gap - revisited: causes and 
consequences of horizontal and vertical gender inequalities on the labor market" organized by the University of Amsterdam, July 7-11. He has presented his co-authored paper with prof. Nikica Mojsoska-Blazevski and Blagica Petreski on "Gender wage gap when women are highly inactive: Evidence from repeated imputations with Macedonian data".

The journal has a 2012 Journal Citation Reports (Thompson Reuters) impact factor of 0.194 and Scopus (SNIF) impact factor of 0.482.
