LEMP’s mission is to create models for economic analysis, forecasting and decision-making and to communicate them with policymakers and the wider economic community as well to promote UACS research and analytical capacity and raise its research profile.

OBJECTIVES
..........................................................................................................
- To publish UACS Quarterly Outlook as a quick, brief and accurate information FOR the conditions and prospects of the Macedonian economy, at the quarterly level;
- To calculate and publish UACS LeadEcon, the leading composite index for the Macedonian economy;
- To contribute to the creation of a Computable General equilibrium model for the Macedonian economy, which will improve the capacity for monitoring and advising on economic policy, and capacity to generate research papers and reports;
- To generate other, ad hoc, economic models that will analyse the economy and will serve to monitor the economic policies and propose solutions;
- To prepare proposals and applications in the area of quantitative modeling for obtaining research grants;
- To organize briefings for the economic policymakers and the general public for the findings of the economic models and economic scenarios;
- To organize trainings for statistics, economic modeling and programming;
- To encourage research at UACS, based on quantitative economic models and applying econometric techniques.
