The Lab for economic modelling and programming organizes an Executive Education course on Econometric modelling for bankers I.
The objective of the course is to enable the employees in the financial system in particular and in economic research in general, skills for dealing with data in their everyday working. The following topics are covered:
- statistical distributions
- regression basics
- time-series modelling: trends, seasonality, unit roots
- VAR model
- cointegration and error-correction model
- Monte Carlo simulations for stress testing
Banking data are heavily used: credit losses, NPLs, credit supply, bank profitability, leverage etc.
The course is designed in Macedonian, but upon request may be delivered in English.
The course comes in two options: regular lectures each May at UACS and in-house option for your organisation upon agreement.
