The School of Architecture and Design has been promoted from granting Associate Degrees to Bachelor degrees.

The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners has awarded UACS initial accreditation of its business programs. ACBSP accreditation certifies that the teaching and learning processes within the business school at University American College meet the rigorous educational standards established by ACBSP. UACS is also the only university accredited by ACBSP south of Vienna, Austria.
ACBSP is a leading specialized accreditation association for business education supporting, celebrating, and rewarding teaching excellence. Established in 1988, ACBSP is the only business accrediting organization for all associate, baccalaureate, and graduate degree programs. In 2001, ACBSP was recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

ECBE is an affiliate of the European Association of Quality Assurance for Higher Education (ENQA) which recognizes ECBE as a bona fide quality assurance agency and a network of HE institutions and agencies.
Through its accreditation programs, ECBE ensures that accredited members meet the requirements of the EHEA as recommended by the European Commission following the Bologna Declaration. Beyond these requirements, emphasis is placed on the needs of students in the learning process. Outputs in terms of both knowledge and skills are evaluated and awarded a credit at various learning level, conforming to the European Quality Framework (EQF) guidelines.
ECBE works in close co-operation with the American ACBSP. Both organizations have similar goals and objectives; are developing close collaboration through a joint accreditation program, facilitating the mobility of teachers and students, the transferability of credits and the recognition of qualifications internationally.
UACS has also received accreditation from the Turkey Higher Education Council (YÖK), which is the responsible institution of the Turkish Ministry of Education. The successful accreditation by YÖK results in a complete, formal recognition and accreditation of all study degree programs by the Turkish government.
