Good management practices are of paramount importance to a competitive Macedonian economy. This requires high quality management consulting and training services. In order to stimulate such services, a Human Resources Development Fund for Enterprises (HRDF) is established as a nation-wide platform active in promoting quality Executive Management Training and Management Consulting.
HRDF aims to be an organization that stimulates the deployment of modern and innovative management training and consulting in the country by collaborating with companies that use the services, suppliers of the services and government and international bodies. HRDF will create awareness for the use of management training and consulting services without carrying out such activities itself.
The mission of the HRDF is:
To support the systematic introduction of modern management techniques in Macedonian companies by providing a nation-wide platform for management training, implementing a quality and custom-oriented approach towards training programmes, teaching materials and training forms that involve highly skilled, practice-oriented local professionals and actively participating managers and entrepreneurs.
The HRDF does not employ trainers or consultants: it acts as a mediator between them and the companies. HRDF is the organizing body that matches all parties, interested and involved in high level management development in Macedonia.
HRDF will establish itself as a high level Macedonian institution that will be business-oriented, close to business practices and business friendly. The aim is to stimulate practical training the results of which can be used directly in companies. For trainers and other professionals involved in training activities, HRDF will position itself as a stable partner that offers possibilities to improve training skills, provide access to innovative techniques and tools. In addition, it will help creating market opportunities for trainers to work with companies.
The HRDF will work directly with enterprises and address their specific needs for learning and training activities, rather than offering a standardized package. The fund will promote ‘Good Practice’ development and experience exchange between managers as an integral part of the activities by organizing a Managers Club.
HRDF will pursue the following strategic overall objective:
Act as the focal point in the country for mobilizing resources to support the implementation of an effective executive management development.
HRDF will pursue the following specific objectives:
1. Support companies to improve their competitiveness by developing and implementing learning programmes based on modern management techniques;
2. Upgrade the quality of training providers and professionals in the country by providing them with modern and innovative management tools and techniques;
3. Raise awareness among companies on the strategic role and impact of management training. Provide a platform for exchange of experience, promotion of best practices and networking among local companies.
