UACS enrollment documents:
1. Passport photocopy
2. Three recent passport photos
3. Application form signed with same signature as the passport
4. Acceptant/Confirmation letter from UACS
5. High school Diploma/Transcripts (original and copy translated to english and stamped with official notary stamp)
6. Enrolment fee deposit (520 euros)
Obtaining Viza
All non-Macedonian students must obtain a student visa for studying in Macedonia. They can apply for a visa at the nearest Macedonian embassy and start the student visa process 5-6 months prior to their arrival in Skopje.
Needed documents for the embassy:
1. Passport no older than six months
2. Three recent passport photos
3. Application form signed with same signature as the passport
4. Acceptant letter from UACS
5. High school Diploma (original and copy stamped with official notary stamp)
6. Financial statement from the bank
7. Invitation letter from UACS, Macedonia
8. Insurance policy (As part of the asked documents in the list is proof of insurance policy from their country valid abroad, if not asked in the embassy the student can get their insurance policy in Macedonia because they will need insurance for the stay permit)
Permit for stay (temporary resident permit for foreign students) in Macedonia
– Student must register in the nearest local police station within 24 hours of his/her arrival in Macedonia
– For resident permit student must show proof of health insurance of the native country, financial statement from the bank with sufficient funds for the school tuition and accommodation, proof of accommodation agreement(rented apartment, house),TOEFL or IELTS score for proof of English knowledge, proof that the student is not convicted of any crime and that there are no warrants against the student.
Insurance policy
- All students must have insurance policy
- If the student doesn’t have an insurance policy, with their arrival and enrollment at UACS he/she will be insured by the University.
Cost and Fees
* 520 Euros Enrolment fee is obligatory for the purpose of issuing acceptance letter from UACS.
The remaining balance can be paid by the following options:

- Install payments (9 months installments)
- By semester payment (50% Fall semester & 50% Spring Semester)

Accommodation
The UACS campus is located in the center of the city, and it is fully equipped with classrooms, computer labs with internet access, studying and reading rooms, a library, and a cafeteria. UACS arranges housing for students and helps find apartment accommodation in nearby locations. Monthly apartment rents range from €100 to €250 for a 2-room apartment (45-65 square meters).
City Life
Skope has around 650,000 citizens and plays a vital part in the cultural and academic life of the country. Skopje's exciting nightlife includes many indoor and outdoor caffe bars, as well as nightclubs and after-hour venues. Compared to many other European cities, Skopje is very affordable, making its nightlife and ever-expanding choice of quality restaurants even more accessible. The cost of a full meal in Skopje ranges from €5 to €25. In addition, there are several pizzerias and fast-food options ranging from €1 to €3, such as McDonald's, Spizzicoto, and Sedmica, as well as many small bakeries and caffes selling pasteries such as burek (a pie with meat, cheese, or spinach).
Public Transport
Most public transport is provided by JSP, a state-controlled company providing 25 routes in the city. Tickets for JSP buses can be bought for 30 DEN (€0.49) at kiosks or 35 DEN (€0.57) upon boarding. Taxis are another popular public transport option (€0.80 for every two kilometers).
Currency Exchange Rate
The local currency is the Denar and it is the official form of payment. Currency such as the US$ or the EU€ are readily exchanged.
