A group of students from the School of Business Economics and Management attending courses in Principles of Accounting conducted a study visit to the prominent company MAKSTIL on Monday, May 14th, 2012.
Makstil AD is a significant and very important producer of hot rolled heavy plates in the Balkan region consisted of Steel Making Plant and Quarto Rolling Plate Mill with Duferco Group as a main partner and major shareholder.
The visit was organized as a part of the course curriculum. During the visit, students were introduced with the basic accounting policies and procedures. The students also became familiar with the company structure, mission, vision and strategy.
