"Every decision we make shapes our journey."

In this competition, high school students are invited to craft a compelling short story or a poem that explores how a single choice can alter the course of somebody’s life. Whether it’s a moment of courage, a twist of fate, or an unexpected consequence, we want to read stories and poems that capture the power of decisions and their ripple effects.

Guidelines:

1. Eligibility: Open to all high school students
2. Word Limit: max 1500 words.
3. Language: Macedonian, English, French, German, Italian
4. Genre: Regarding the short stories, any genre is welcome—realistic fiction, fantasy, science fiction, mystery, or even historical fiction. The only rule is that the story must revolve around a pivotal choice.
5. Submission Format: - Typed, double-spaced, Times New Roman, 12 pt. - Submit in PDF or Word format.
6. Judging Criteria: - Creativity and Originality – Unique interpretation of the theme. - Plot and Character Development – Engaging storyline and well-developed characters. - Language and Style – Effective use of language, narrative or poetic techniques. - Adherence to Theme – Clear connection to the concept of a life-changing choice.
