The School of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University American College Skopje is the leading institution in North Macedonia in advanced computer sciences, offering active teaching, as well as collaborative and research activities in the wide area of computer sciences, including software engineering, management information systems, computer networks, and cybersecurity.

Founded in 2006, UACS SCSIT is focused on delivering excellence in education to all students and introducing them to the local and international IT business world, equally dedicated to offering unique, well-thought-out of and well-managed programs for full-time and part-time studies. Supported by a remarkable IT cluster of companies and businesses, members of the Business Council of UACS contribute significantly to the overall outstanding quality of programs.

ASIIN Accreditation Certificate

The state accredited study programs in Computer Science and Management of Information Systems of the School of Computer Science and Information Technology (SCSIT), at University American College Skopje (UACS), are internationally accredited by ASIIN - a German agency for accreditation of study programs in the fields of Technical sciences, Information technology (IT), Natural sciences and Mathematics.

ASIIN is authorized by theEuropean Quality Assurance Network for Informatics Education (EQANIE), which provides the European Quality Label Euro-Inf® Label of Informatics study programs, and grants SCSIT this label. Hence, SCSIT’s diplomas in Computer Science and Management of Information Systems, with both benchmarks ofASIIN and the Euro-Inf® Label, are officially recognized and acknowledged in Europe as a whole. In addition to this, the study program in Management of Information Systems now carries 3 accreditation benchmarks: ACBSP, ASIIN and Euro-Inf® Label.
