From UACS to TUM: A Research Experience in Munich
For Angela Zorchec, the opportunity to travel to Munich and visit the Technical University of Munich (TUM) was a chance to experience an international academic and research environment firsthand.
Through the Zlat Milovanovic Award, facilitated by University American College Skopje (UACS), Angela visited the Chair of Health Informatics at TUM, where she learned about the Erasmus+ TE(A)CHADOPT project and gained valuable insight into research methodology, working with diverse participants, and the challenges of developing inclusive technologies for children with neurodevelopmental disorders.
Alongside her academic experience, Angela explored Munich, its historic center, Viktualienmarkt, the TUM campus, and the area around the Isar River — making the visit a meaningful experience both professionally and personally.
But rather than tell you about Angela’s experience, we invite you to hear it in her own words.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Milovanovic family for their continued support through the annual Zlat Milovanovic Award, an initiative founded with a commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for students to learn, grow, and experience the world beyond the classroom.
We are deeply grateful for their continued belief in our students and for helping make experiences like Angela’s a reality.
