INTERSECTIONS 2026: Bridging Student Research and Academic Excellence at UACS
On January 15, 2026, the University American College Skopje (UACS) hosted INTERSECTIONS 2026, bringing together students, professors, and researchers for a multidisciplinary conference at the UACS Amphitheatre, connecting student research with professional academic standards, and supporting critical thinking, dialogue, and innovation.
The program featured inspiring keynote addresses by Prof. Ivan Dodovski, PhD, and Prof. Ivana Trajanoska, PhD, setting a strong academic tone for the day. At the same time, student presentations explored a wide multidisciplinary spectrum—from the psychology of social media addiction and student independence, to AI in education, autonomous vehicle safety, and Macedonia’s strategic peace in the 1990s.
Brought to life through the vision of organizers Prof. Tamara Jolevska Popov, ,MA and Prof. Ilina Kachinske, and executed with great professionalism by the student Session Chairs Marjana Burazer, Sofija Popova, and Luka Mitreski, INTERSECTIONS 2026 proved to be a platform where students confidently defended ideas that matter.
