Reflecting on a Successful Summer School of Architecture in Ohrid
As we approach the end of the year, we take a moment to look back at one of the highlights of 2025 for the School of Architecture and Design at University American College Skopje — the XII Summer School of Architecture in Ohrid.
Held from 30 June to 7 July 2025, this year’s edition brought together students, tutors, and international partners to explore the theme “Resilient School in Declining Demographics.” Ohrid once again became a living laboratory for architectural education, critical thinking, and collaborative design practice.
The Summer School was led by Ana Kreč and Jure Hrovat (SVET VMES, Ljubljana), with the strong support of the UACS organizational and teaching team: Pavel Veljanoski (Programme Director of the 2025 session), Maksim Naumovski, and Nina Karangeleska Todorovska.
We are proud of the work produced by the students and grateful for the institutional, local, and international partnerships that made this session possible.

With sincere thanks to all participants, partners, and supporters, we look forward to building on this momentum in the years ahead.
