On March 3, 2026, students from the School of Architecture and Design at the University American College Skopje (UACS) visited the Municipality of Strumica as part of a working field activity. During the visit, the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Mishko Ralev, met with the Mayor, Mr. Petar Jankov, and signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, establishing a framework for future collaboration on architectural and urban initiatives aimed at improving the quality and functionality of public spaces in the municipality.

As part of their master’s program, students led by Prof. Ljupcho Jovanov and teaching assistant Paolina Milusheva conducted field research at a site designated for a future Multimedia Center. The assignment focused on developing conceptual architectural proposals for the project, allowing students to work on a real site while proposing contemporary design solutions that contribute to the development of Strumica’s cultural infrastructure, directly responding to the needs of the city and its community.
