The University American College Skopje successfully convened its General Assembly of the Business Council, bringing together distinguished partners from the business community for a constructive and forward-looking exchange.

At the heart of the discussion was a central question: how can we more effectively prepare students to meet the evolving demands of today’s job market? In this context, the University presented key insights from its latest survey, emphasizing the growing importance of practical experience, as well as the need to further develop digital and artificial intelligence competencies, alongside strong communication and problem-solving skills. The dialogue reaffirmed a shared understanding that preparing future professionals is a collective responsibility—while universities provide the academic foundation, sustained and meaningful collaboration with industry partners is essential for shaping and advancing talent.

A key highlight of the Assembly was also the introduction of the American Center for Innovation and Development, a new initiative designed to strengthen the connection between academia and industry that will serve as a platform for practical training, professional certifications, and active engagement in real-world projects, contributing to enhanced student preparedness for the labor market.
