The 3rd Macedonian Sustainable Leap: Driving Sustainability Through Academia and Industry
On June 4, the University American College Skopje (UACS) successfully hosted the 3rd Macedonian Sustainable Leap at Netaville Skopje. Organized as part of the university's Business Ethics course, the event challenged students to develop and present actionable solutions aligned with the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), targeting key areas such as climate action and responsible consumption.
Bolstered by an evaluation committee that presented a blend of academic rigor and corporate insights, featuring Ms. Elena Bundaleska, Professor of Business Ethics at UACS, and Ms. Marija Mininchik, representative of Pivara Skopje, a leader in corporate sustainability, the initiative successfully demonstrated how academic theory can be translated into practical, sustainable impact led by the next generation of professionals.
UACS extends its sincere gratitude to Pivara Skopje AD and Ms. Marija Mininchik for their invaluable support and contribution to the event's success, with special thanks also going to Netaville Skopje for their continued professionalism and generosity in hosting this annual milestone.
