The University American College Skopje (UACS) is proud to announce a new collaboration with the internationally recognized BIGSEE Festival, one of the most prominent platforms for architecture and design in Southeast Europe.

As part of this year’s edition, taking place on May 21 in Portorož, UACS faculty member Ivan Mirkovski will participate as both a nominator and presenter. This engagement has led to the establishment of an official partnership between BIGSEE and UACS, with the University now featured among the festival’s partner institutions on the official BIGSEE website.

This collaboration marks an important step in strengthening UACS’s international presence and fostering connections with leading platforms in architecture and design.

We are also proud to highlight the success of UACS alumni, as former student Angela Banchotova has been recognized with an award at this year’s BIGSEE edition—further reflecting the quality, creativity, and global relevance of our academic community.

This partnership not only enhances the visibility of UACS and its School of Architecture and Design, but also stands as a testament to the achievements of our faculty and alumni on the international stage.
