Gathered with our families in Skopje City Park, we did more than mark an anniversary—we celebrated a story written together. The 20th anniversary of the University American College Skopje is not only a milestone but a testament to two decades of dedication, passion, and an enduring sense of community.

This past Saturday, we came together to honor not just the passage of time, but the people—our students, faculty, staff, and friends—who have shaped UACS into the institution it is today. Witnessing so many familiar faces, smiling and at ease, surrounded by loved ones, was a poignant reminder of what truly sets UACS apart. It is not merely our programs, achievements, or numbers—it is our people.

From the vibrant performance by the AHSS school band that opened the celebration to the heartfelt expressions of gratitude shared throughout the day, every moment reflected the culture we have built together: one grounded in care, mutual respect, and shared success.

As we continue to celebrate this jubilee year, let us carry with us the spirit of that day—the laughter, the warmth, and the profound sense of belonging. UACS is more than a place of work or study; it is a place where we grow, both professionally and personally.

A highlight of the event was the special tribute to a group of exceptional individuals: our longest-serving employees. With quiet commitment, tireless effort, and unwavering loyalty, these colleagues have stood beside UACS through its most defining chapters. Their contributions have not only helped shape the institution itself but also the lives of countless students, faculty members, and staff.

Vice Rector, Prof. Venera Krliu, who led the appreciation ceremony, described it as one of the most meaningful moments of the day. “This gesture is small compared to the impact they have made,” she noted. “But it is full of heart. These are the people who have carried the vision of UACS every day, with integrity and care.”
