On September 29, 2025, psychology students at UACS had the opportunity to visit the Alternativa Institute for Family and Systemic Psychotherapy in Skopje, led by Assoc. Prof. Dimitrinka Jordanova Pesevska Jordanova Peshevska, PhD.

They were introduced to the field of Systemic Family Psychotherapy and explored the systemic approach through an engaging, hands-on learning experience. Guided by Dr. Slavica Gajdadzis-Knezevic, Head of the Alternativa Institute (ALTERNATIVA Group), a European Certified School for Psychotherapy, and a Master Trainer at the Institute, they gained a deeper understanding of the core principles and foundational concepts of systemic psychotherapy training and education.

In addition, it was discussed how the UACS students can contribute and continue to future initiatives and projects, supporting and participating in research intended to improve the mental health of adolescents.
