UACS Students Promote Cybersecurity Awareness at Elementary School Petar Pop Arsov
On May 6, 2026, students from the School of Computer Science and Information Technology at American College Skopje gave a presentation on Cyber Attacks and Hackers at Elementary School Petar Pop Arsov.
Seventh and ninth graders learned about cyber attacks, hackers, and the different types of threats—such as phishing, malware, and social engineering. The goal was to help students better understand the real risks in today’s digital world.
Through interactive discussions and hands-on examples, the session raised awareness about the importance of cybersecurity, how to recognize potential threats, and ways to stay safe while using the internet and digital technologies.
The learning continues next week—Thursday, May 14, 2026—with a session for 3rd and 4th graders focused on Cybersecurity, diving deeper into digital protection and safe technology use.
This initiative reflects UACS’s commitment to empowering young people and strengthening our community’s digital resilience. Together, we’re building a safer future online.
We are proud of our students for their unselfish support and dedication to sharing knowledge with the community.
